I’ve been playing music for over 45 years, there is no substitute for experience, therefore I must continue the tradition of passing my knowledge along to the next generations.
This lays the groundwork for my students. Everyone with the desire to play music needs a place to start their musical journey and someone to lead them through it.
Great technique, tone, and practice habits, need to be taught by someone who is accomplished and has “Been there, and done that!”
The result is a student who is taught these basic techniques, can accomplish their goals more quickly.
I have played since 1964, So I do have a few tricks up my sleeve that I am willing to pass along.

Credentials
As you can see from a few of my favorite photos below, I have been fortunate enough to play alongside some of the best musicians in the world.
What you don’t know is, I have also worked for LAUSD since 1993 and am credentialed to work with students of all ages.
This is not the case with most studios. You are also very welcome to sit in on the lesson, as I have plenty of room for guests in my studio.
Also of note, as of January 2020, I will have completed my Masters Degree in Secondary Education with a credential in Visual Arts.
